How to make all purpose cleaner, air freshener, glass cleaner and dishwasher cleaner at home? In this article we will offer you easy to make solutions for all these regular sprays used at homes.
1. ALL PURPOSE CLEANER
All purpose cleaner is a spray that can be used to sanitize different surfaces including food items like fruits and vegetables. To make an all purpose cleaner at home, mix:
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup plain water
- 3 drops of tea tree oil (tea tree oil can easily be bought online in Pakistan)
- 3 drops of lemon oil (lemon essential oil can also be easily bought online in Pakistan)
You may find two of these ingredients, Tea Tree oil and Lemon Essential oil a bit expense. 10ml bottles of these oils will cost you Rs.850 and Rs.420 respectively. The quantity may seem small but 10ml contains 200 drops of a liquid, so these tiny bottles of tea tree and lemon essential oils can go a long way.
Mixing all these ingredients will give you at least 500ml of the spray.
2. AIR FRESHENER
To make a room air freshener at home, mix:
- 1 cup of plain water
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 5-6 drops of grapefruit essential oil
Grapefruit oil is available online from Rs.570 - Rs.840 and considering drop count in a bottle, 10ml bottle can get you 40 bottles of air freshener.
3. GLASS CLEANER
Glass cleaners are probably one of the most used sprays at home. So, why not make your own spray at home and spend that money on getting a better kitchen knife :) To get a 500ml spray bottle of regular glass cleaner, all you have to do is mix:
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup plain water
Add both these ingredients in a spray bottle, mix well and use.
4. DISHWASHER CLEANER
Though there are several other ways of cleaning a dirty dish washer but probably making the following mixture is probably the easiest and cheapest way. All you have to do is, mix:
1 cup of white vinegar
1/2 cup baking soda
This will get you a thick paste like mixture which you can use to make your dish washer look new and smell free.
